Iron Men's Ministry
The Ironman (IR) is the flagship of the Friendship Baptist Church Worldwide Men’s Ministry commitment to INTENTIONALLY equip and develop husbands, fathers, sons, and brothers through engagement, teaching and learning. The mission of the Men’s Ministry is to provide a SAFE SPACE for men ages 13 and older in all backgrounds of life to become better men unapologetically and authentically. Ironman equips and empowers men at every level with biblical knowledge, relevant skills, and transformation experiences to sharpen and ENHANCE the whole man.
Ephesians 4:13 (NASB) “Until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ.”
Ironman participants will establish their identity in the standard of Jesus Christ and a closer relationship with God through collaboration with a community of men.
Activities include:
· Ironman (IR) Group Chat to stay engaged and connected; we are our brother’s keeper (morning scripture to center the start of your day; an atmosphere for memes and laughter; the outlet for your opinion and discussion).

· Video Conference Call is the new social medium for biblical teaching on topics that are real and relevant to men.

· Iron Sharpens Iron is an accountability tool that fosters dependability and consistency on your journey to Christlikeness. Upon completion and review of the Ironman Intake Form you will be partnered with someone relatable to your background for introduction to the Men’s Ministry.

· The Summit is the gathering of those called by Christ to be a disciple on your journey to the Kingdom of God. These meetings will take place monthly 9:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. (EST). Dates will be announced.
